Senior Analyst, Offshore Marine
Ying Kun is a Senior Analyst in Westwood’s Offshore Marine team, currently involved in a range of projects concerning the oil & gas and renewables sector. His recent works include a sell-side commercial due diligence study for a private equity firm, an energy market monitoring report for a National Oil Company as well as a market study covering the offshore wind vessel segment for a Japanese conglomerate.
Prior to joining Westwood, Ying Kun was a research analyst with a leading shipbroking firm, actively involved in data research for the offshore and infrastructure sectors. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Studies (Honours with Highest Distinction) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). During his stint with NTU, he researched on vessel valuation and developed a regression & factor-based vessel valuation methodology.
