DW in the NewsDW has been on a number of sites this week, with reference to our World FLNG Market Forecast and World Floating Production Market Forecast in a range of publications:

Douglas-Westwood’s World FLNG Market Forecast 2015-2021 report was featured in a supplement to LNG World Shipping that focused on Offshore LNG:

“In 2015 we expect something of a pause in new commitments given both the first-in-line-to-be-second approach to the technology and the capex cutbacks we have seen as a function of lower oil and gas prices,” says Mr Wilby.”

Last week’s Upstream newspaper featured a special on the floating production market and referenced Douglas-Westwood’s World Floating Production Market Forecast 2015-2019:

“DW analyst Ben Wilby says 2016 “should see a recovery in activity as a number of project FIDs that were due in 2015, such as the Vette FPSO vessel, are reached. Re-engineering and industry price deflation are key drivers for renewed activity.”

Nigerian newspaper This Day also featured the World Floating Production Market Forecast 2015-2019 in their paper this week:

“Despite the current global downturn in the crude marker, which has led to industry wide reduction in capital expenditure (Capex), Douglas-Westwood has predicted in a new report that the Capex for FPS units would rise to $68billion between 2015 and 2019.”

This week’s DW Monday was featured on a number of news sites:
