Floating Wind Forum 2023

April 18, 2023 - April 18, 2023

Whether as a green-power replacement for brown coal-fired electricity production in Australia, a clean-energy dream-weaver in California, or a decarboniser of offshore oil & gas operations in the European northern seas, floating wind is emerging as the engine of the energy transition that can do it all – with the technology now eliciting industrial comparisons to Tesla, Ikea and even Ford Model-Ts.

But while the global floating wind pipeline more than doubled to 185GW last year, there is only 121MW of plant currently operating, and reaching the rates of expansion that would create a 250GW plus market by mid-century is going to be a herculean task for government and industry alike.

Join Recharge and its high-level speakers delving into the evolving market fundamentals of the sector as it industrialises in Europe, the US and Asia, and the technologies that will be key to its commercialisation globally.

This digital roundtable will host two leadership panels of industry experts.

Attending this year’s event will be Energy Transition Director, David Linden, who will be providing the scene setter presentation.
