Stuart is a New Energies Research Manager in Westwood’s Energy Transition team in London, working primarily in the low carbon space. He has over 10 years’ experience in the energy industry having worked for a number of engineering consultancies.

Starting his career in the downstream sector with Amec Foster Wheler, Stuart worked on variety of design projects for refineries and gas processing facilities. He then transitioned into the upstream sector, working for Genesis Energies as a Principal Process Engineer. He has worked on greenfield development and brownfield projects, decommissioning planning and de-bottlenecking studies.

Stuart is a Chartered Member of IChemE and holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester.
