DW in the NewsIt has been a busy week with Matt Loffman giving a presentation at OTC and numerous articles on Douglas-Westwood’s market forecasts:

Matt Loffman gave a speech at an industry breakfast during OTC and was quoted in a number of publications:

John Westwood was quoted on the Bloomberg website, discussing a new AUV that has been announced by Boeing:

“The company says it’s spent an eight-figure sum on the Voyager; John Westwood, founder of market researcher Douglas-Westwood, estimates at least $50 million.” 05/05/2016

Douglas Westwood’s World ROV Operations Market Forecast 2015-2019 was referenced in an article on Rigzone:

“The market for ROVs is set to increase by approximately 19 percent during the 2014-2019 period, according to Douglas-Westwood, which forecasts that 1,176 ROVs will be in use in 2019.” 04/05/2016

A recent survey that was completed by EnergyVoice and then analysed by DW was in the news this week:

“The results, which were analysed by Douglas-Westwood, revealed internationalisation and sector diversification would take centre stage as the sector battles its latest downturn.” 03/05/2016

An article on the North Sea Decommissioning Market Forecast was featured in the May edition of the Oil and Gas Journal as well as on their website:

“The North Sea presents an opportunity for companies involved in decommissioning, a segment which could see more than $80 billion of investment through 2040.” 02/05/2016

Mark Adeosun wrote an article for Offshore Magazine on the World Deepwater Market Forecast that was featured in their May edition, as well as on their website:

“The oil price downturn has dominated the news cycle and is expected to dictate the fate of many deepwater developments. Low prices have challenged the economic viability of many projects, resulting in cancellations and deferred sanctioning.” 04/05/2016
