New well highlights from Bone Spring, Haynesville, & Eagle Ford

EOG Resources fracs Bone Spring well in Permian (2018-10-13)

EOG Resources completed an extended-lateral well in Lea County, New Mexico.

The Dragon 36 State #302H flowed 11,180 bbl of oil and 1,638 MMcf of gas, producing x monthly boe. It was drilled to a vertical depth of 10,257 ft with a measured depth of 15,200 ft. EOG Resources reported flowing tubing pressures of 411 PSI, a 1 inch choke size and a gas-oil ratio of 147 Mcf/bbl.

Sabine Oil and Gas completes 2-mile lateral in Haynesville (2018-10-11)

Houston based independent oil and natural gas company Sabine Oil and Gas reported a gas well in Harrison County, Texas.

The Rhoades-Rosborough (AW) H is a horizontal well drilled to a vertical depth of 11,201 ft and a lateral length of 10,259 ft in the Carthage field. It produced 24-hour IP rates of 19,946 MMcf of gas and 778 bbl of water at 11,384 ft and 21,245 ft. The Rhoades-Rosborough (AW) H had a dry gas gravity of 0.593 and a 27/64 inch choke size.

EOG Resources 1,909 Mcf/bbl gas-oil ratio in Delaware basin (2018-10-14)

A completion was reported by Houston-based EOG Resources in the Permian basin in Lea, New Mexico.

An upper wolfcamp well, the Barlow 34 Federal Com #714H flowed 3,885 bbl of oil, 7,415 MMcf of gas and 6,794 bbl of water. It tested with a flowing casing pressure of 2,780 PSI over 24 hours with a 1 inch choke size. The Barlow 34 Federal Com #714H has a measured depth of 17,229 ft and a 15 stage lateral length of 4,776 ft.

Marathon Completes trio in Eagle Ford (2018-10-22 and 2018-10-24)

Three wells on a 9-well pad in the Eagle Ford were completed by Marathon in Karnes County, Texas.

Horizontal well Kowalik 228-1R 10H flowed  2,806 bbl of oil, 5,172 MMcf of gas and 743 bbl of water. It was drilled to 11,741 ft with a lateral length of 9,324 ft. It was treated with acid, sand and water at 12,098 ft and 20,930 ft.

The Kowalik 228-1R 11H was drilled to a vertical depth of 11,738 ft with a lateral length of 9,957. At a measured depth of 21,695 ft, it produced 2,971 bbl of oil and 5,447 MMcf of gas for a gas-oil ratio of 1832.

Marathon’s Kowalik 228-1R 12H is a horizontal well drilled to 21,17 ft, 11,740 ft true vertical. It flowed 2,828 bbl of oil and 5,054 MMcf of gas along an 8,844 ft production interval at 12,221 ft and 21,065 ft. It has a 26 choke size with a flowing tubing pressure of 3,976 PSI.

Mewbourne Oil completes two wells in Permian (2018-09-10 and 2018-09-19)

Two wells in the Permian were completed by Mewbourne Oil in Eddy, New Mexico.

The Derringer 18 B3MP Federal #002H flowed 433 bbl of oil, 1,094 MMcf of gas and 2,290 bbl of watter per day with perforations at 9,103 ft and 13,300 ft. Drilled to a vertical depth of 9,017 ft and a measured depth of 13,350 ft, the Bone Spring well produced 185 boe monthly per lateral foot.

The Pavo Macho 31 32 B2DA Federal Com#001H tested with a 0.000 inch choke size and flowing casing pressure of 1,100 PSI. Drilled at a vertical depth of 7,687 ft and a lateral length of 9,658 ft, it has a measured depth of 17,345 ft. It flowed 509 bbl of oil, s47 MMcf of gas and 2,352 bbl of water for a gas-oil ratio of 485 Kcf/bbl.

Continental Resources uses 1,111 bbls 15% HCl acid (2018-09-13)

A completion was reported by Oklahoma City based Continental Resources in the Anadarko Basin in Grady county, Oklahoma.

The SS McCalla 1-12HS was tested flowing 1,111 bbl of oil and 1,111 MMcf of gas. It was drilled to a vertical depth of 11,514 ft, a measured depth of 16,931 ft and a lateral length of 5,417 ft. It was perforated at 11,844 ft and 16,760 ft in the Goddard formation.

Crawley Petroleum in Cana Woodford (2018-09-17)

A Cana Woodford well was completed by Crawley Petroleum in Dewey county, Oklahoma.

The Armstrong-Hamel 2-1H produced 24-hour IP rates of 356 bbl of oil and 1,672 MMcf of gas along its 4,740 ft lateral. HAL is the provider for proppant and gelling agents. The Armstrong-Hamel was drilled to a vertical depth of 10,200 ft and a measured depth of 14,940 ft.

RGX Energy in Midland Basin (2018-09-09)

Private E&P company RGX Energy has completed a well in Gaines county, Texas.

The Petersen 2H utilizes surfactants and inhibitors provided by Ace and proppants provided by Covia (Santrol).  Acid Corrosion Inhibitors are provided by Finoric. Drilled to a vertical depth of 4,604 ft and a lateral length of 4,561 ft, the Petersen flowed 356 bbl of oil, 100 MMcf of gas and 3,639 bbl of water at 5,101 ft and 8,986 ft.
